

Antique Haori - Woven Mountain and Tree
Tress and nature are a core element to Shinto, a religion that originated in Japan. It is said that trees inhabit spirits that can reach one hundred years of age. These spirits are known as Kodama, and according to folklore, the Kodama give the tree personality of sorts.
This silk lined Haori shows a beautiful gold woven landscape with metallic turquoise. It has a family crest that is placed on the back, above the mountains.
