TEA TOWEL - PEONIES
100% Ramie
Ramie is extremely absorbent and has a natural stain resisting ability similar to that of linen. It keeps its shape and doesn’t shrink. Ramie is one of the strongest and oldest natural textile fibres. It was used in mummies cloths in Egypt during 5,000-3,000 BC.
In Japan peonies are a symbol of bravery, honour and good fortune. Generally, though, peonies symbolise prosperity, good luck and love. The temple stamp affirms this.
Kanji: True victory is victory over oneself.
